ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1955 attendee badge for the National Aircraft Show, which happened at the Philadelphia International Airport during the first week of September that year. It was worn by F. R. Prill, a North American Aviation project engineer for the F-100 Super Sabre jet. The United States Air Force flew the supersonic F-100 from the year before this show until 1971. The badge has an attached lapel pin in the shape of the jet.

VINTAGE: Circa 1955.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Badge: celluloid, paper, nickel-plated brass; lapel pin: gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Badge: horizontal safety-style pin; lapel pins: single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some light to medium wear.
