ARTIFACT:
Great circa 1943 – 1944 Indian made bullion 14th Air Force patch. This example is a wild variant showing a stylized winged tiger and a bullion five point star with a red center. Red and black embroidered thread accent the stripe, eyes, and claws of the tiger. The patch is a lighter blue with a nice bullion border and canvas backing.

CONDITION:
6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, a small spot of the fabric has worn away and shows the stiffener beneath, nearly all the bullion and thread details remain intact with overall handsome patina.
