ARTIFACT: This in a very early 40's, possibly 1943-44 Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) bullion member blazer patch. The bullion, silk, and wire embroider depicts an eagle carrying a blue and red hatched ball.

VINTAGE: Early 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 4" x 3"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk, Bullion, and Wire embroidered on Woven Wool

ATTACHMENT: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX17 LAAEX02/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): This patch has moderate wear, with some mothing on the edges and the fraying of thread on the reverse.
