This is a Great 1890's Pre-Prohibition Ridgewood Park Brewery Advertising Match Safe From Brooklyn, New York. Cool Push-button Spring operated Opening. Spring on one side is weak.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with painted letters.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: "J.GED.GRAUER'S RIDGEWOOD PARK BREWERY COR.CYPRESS AVE. & WILLOW ST. EVERGREEN, L.I."

ITEM NOTES:  This is from a beer advertizing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGEX19 LAGEX10/08/19

CONDITION: 7(Very Fine): The match safe has had some use and wear over the years. Some of the nickel plating has worn off and spring on one side is weak, but overall very fine condition.
