Description
This is a beautiful and near mint advertising match safe for Hanley's Peerless Ale of the James Hanley Brewery Company of Providence, Rhode Island. This safe dates form the pre-Prohibition era (circa 1904) and is maker marked. It is in nickel-plated brass.
VINTAGE:Circa 1904.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:A.R.T. MFG. CO. N.Y. PAT. JAN 2 04 along bottom edge.
