1880's-90's Pre-Prohibition Pabst Brewing Co. Promotional Pocket Match Safe

This is a Pre-Prohibition promotional pocket match safe from Pabst Brewing Co. The pocket safe was used to help workers store matches easily, so they always had a way to light their cigarettes. The bottom of the safe is serrated to allow the owner to strike the match.

Circa 1980's-90's

Approximately 2-7/8" x 1-5/8" x 1/2

Nickel Plated Brass

Button lock and hinge.

Obverse: "PAPST BREWING CO. MILWWAUKEE WIS. U.S.A. Reverse: "B. TRADE MARK.
