This is a great circa 1890's GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Captain Henry Post No. 97 parade ribbon for the Goodwill Fire Company No. 1 of Belvidere, New Jersey. The cream ribbon has wonderful graphics of a horse-drawn steam fire engine and is embroidered in gold metallic thread.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890's.
SIZE:Approximately 7" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk, metallic thread.
