Description
This is a 1907 fire parade/muster ribbon for the Goodwill Fire Company of Belvidere, New Jersey at Easton, Pennsylvania. The ribbon is blue with a celluloid MEMBER bar at the top from which hangs a medallion showing fire equipment. There gold bullion fringe at the bottom. The ribbon was made by The Carolan & Clark Company and has a manufacturer tag on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1907.
SIZE:Approximately 7-3/4" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk, bullion thread, celluloid, gilt brass, paper tag.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety pin on bar, chains on medallion.
MARKINGS:Made by The Carolan & Clark Co. (union stamp) Main Office and Factory 252 Market St. Newark, N.J. U.S.A.
