ARTIFACT: This is a gorgeous lapel badge presented to a Fire Chief by the Seagrave Company of Columbus, Ohio, on August 25-28, 1908. This badge was given out at the 36th Annual Convention of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

VINTAGE: Circa 1908.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16 in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold filled on Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Screwback post.

MARKINGS: Obverse: "CHIEF FIRE DEPT. Reverse: "COMPLIMENTS OF THE SEAGRAVE CO. COL. O. AUG 25-28-1908. MADE BY F. C. BLENKNER

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Fire Dept collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDX16 LAAEX01/17 SAAEX09/29/21

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint - ): Almost no wear whatsoever on the obverse, slight tarnishing on the reverse, overall this badge is in Near Mint- condition.
