Description
This is a circa 1949 presentation fire badge to ex-Chief Joseph Ininger of the Maywood, New Jersey Fire Department. The small and handsome badge was presented to Ininger by the Board of Fire Officers and is engraved on reverse. It is gold-filled in a beautiful riveted construction.
VINTAGE:Circa 1949.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch, riveted construction.
MARKINGS:PRESENTED TO JOSEPH ININGER BY BOARD OF FIRE OFFICERS 1948-1949.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The badge has little wear and some tarnish to the reverse.
