ARTIFACT: This is a lovely 1930's Kenilworth, NJ, Fire Department Chief Badge. This gold filled badge, by S. H. Reese is sized for a lapel or wallet. A badge from this time with the S. H. Reese maker's mark is fairly rare to find.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's's

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" x 1

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 1/20 10K Gold filled brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with broken locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: Obverse: "EX. CHIEF. FIRE DEPT. KELINWORTH, N.J. Reverse: "1/20 10K GOLD FILLED. S.H. REESE

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Fire Chief Badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDV12 LFJX02/17

CONDITION: 5+ (Fine-): The brass is wearing through the gold on the higher parts of the badge, and the catch is missing it's locking mechanism.
