Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s Past Chief badge for the New Hope Fire Company, of Glenbrook (Stamford), Connecticut. The shield-shaped badge has fire horns in relief at the center. It was made by the C.G. Braxmar Company of New York.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

C.G. BRAXMAR CO. 242 W. 56 ST. N.Y.
