This is a circa 1920s Stamford, Connecticut Fire Department badge in nickel. The cross-shaped badge is numbered 31 and was most likely worn as a hat badge.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 2-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickeled brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin on bar with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has light wear with one small spot of oxidation to the reverse only.
