This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 368th Engineer Battalion. The DI is a red crest showing a gear and windmill blades at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-1/4" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Aluminum with painted area.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:DONNER ELBERFELD GERMANY.
