ARTIFACT:

This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 368th Engineer Battalion. The DI is a red crest showing a gear and windmill blades at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II era.

SIZE:

1-1/4" height and 1" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Aluminum with painted area.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:

DONNER ELBERFELD GERMANY.
