German-Made DI for US Army 1st Quartermaster Regiment

This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 1st Quartermaster Regiment. The DI is a crest with a tree bearing a fleur-de-lis and reads PORTONS LES FAR DEAUX (let us carry the burden).

Circa post-World War II era.

1-1/8" height and 7/8" width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
