First Edition 1945 Book on USS Silversides (SS-236) by Robert Trumbull

This is a 1945 first edition hardcover copy of "Silversides", the story of the USS Silversides (SS-236). Launched August 26, 1941, Silversides went on fourteen Pacific World War II patrols, earning her twelve battle stars. The book was written by Robert Turnbull and printed by Henry Holt & Company.

Published 1945.

217 pages; approximately 8-1/8" in height and 5-5/8" in width and 15/16" in thickness.

Cloth-bound cover, paper.

Glued binding.
