ARTIFACT:

This is a fabulous sterling silver hat badge for Carey Airport Service Inc., which is still in operation today. The badge shows a pair of wings and an airplane and reads CAREY AIRPORT SERVICES INC.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1940s.

SIZE:

1-3/8" height and 3-1/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver with red and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw pin with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.
