Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a United Air Lines Agent's hat badge 4th issue in sterling silver. The badge is a pair of wings bridged by four stars and has a red, white and blue enameled crest at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver, plated brass, enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT:

Screw post with disc backing and two stabilization posts.

MARKINGS:

STERLING and an L maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES:
