This is a 1960s wing in sterling silver for United Air Lines by Gemsco. The wing has four gold stars at top and a red, white and blue enamel crest at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:GEMSCO with maker's mark and STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RGEV11/98 LBCEX5/11
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The wing has some small spots of light to medium wear.
