Description
This is a fabulous guest ribbon for the Goodwill Fire Co. No. 2 of Belvidere, New Jersey June 1887 muster at Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The red ribbon has a wonderful horse drawn steamer graphic and three golden star pendants (one is no longer attached, but still present). The ribbon reads "PHOENIX" beneath the topmost star.
VINTAGE:Circa 1887.
SIZE:Approximately 7-3/4" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk, gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin, chain links for stars.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The ribbon has some light wear and tarnish and one star is separated from ribbon but still present.
