This is an extremely rare (one of only four known) and beautiful wing made for a World War I United States Air Service pilot and shows a crest reading U.S. with stars and stripes flanked by two spread wings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:3" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under catch.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Wing shows some moderate tarnish on front and light scratches on reverse.
