Description

ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare WWII Aussie-made United States Army Adjutant General Corps branch of service collar insignia and matching overseas cap piece made by K.G. Luke. Each piece is red, white, and blue enameled shield featuring red and white vertical stripes topped with a banner of blue depicting thirteen stars, twelve small (six on each side) with one larger in the center. The Adjutant General Corps is responsible for the administrative duties within the branch.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height x 7/8" in width (collar insignia) & 3/4" in height x 5/8" in width for cap insignia.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single post and stabilizing pin with top hat style clutch back.
