RARE Australian Made WWII US Army Transportation Service Cap & Insignia

This is a Rare, Australian-made cap and insignia for the United States Army Transportation Service. The cap is in a camel color with a nice sheen and the insignia in a eagle bearing a nicely enameled crest.

Circa World War II.

Cap: approximate size 7-1/4 or 7-3/8; insignia: about 1-3/16" in height by 1-3/16" in width.

Cap: twill; insignia: gold-plated brass with enamel.

Insignia: horizontal pin with C catch.

Cap: ROTHWELL'S BRISBANE; insignia: none.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Both the cap and the insignia show very little wear. The cap has a pen mark inside which may have been initials at one time, and some small areas of minor discoloration.

As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
