ARTIFACT: Rare WWII UK-made United States Army General Staff Corps collar insignia by J. R. Gaunt. The insignia features a gilt brass Great Seal of the United States with an enameled stars and bars shield on the eagle's chest in red, white, and blue. The insignia is two-piece construction with the Seal laid atop a five pointed star.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1"x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Two-piece construction, plated, gilt brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: British 'Y' Kick Pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: "J. R. GAUNT LONDON"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX12 LHEX7/15 SGEX8/18

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia shows moderate wear, much of the gilt, plating and enamel details remain intact.
