ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1950s Salisbury, Massachusetts Police wallet badge. The badge is numbered 11 and is in the clamshell style with the "Arm of Miles Standish" at the top. Bordering the central seal are the words STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS instead of "Commonwealth". We have a slightly later badge with the same number also for sale that reads COMM. OF MASSACHUSETTS (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and plated brass, enamel details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin on bar.

MARKINGS: 11 on front; PAT. No. on bar.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Massachusetts police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDZ95 LDEX12/13 SDEX05/05/20

CONDITION: 5+ (Fine-): The badge has some areas of moderate wear and tarnish, especially at the center.
