This is a wonderful set of circa early 1870s 2nd model leg irons by Tower's, a dominant US manufacturer of restraints from the 1860s through the 1940s. They come with their original key.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1870s.
SIZE:Approximately 21" in length by 6-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Iron.
ATTACHMENT:Chain, lock with key.
MARKINGS:Pat'd June 17 '62 & July 17 '66.
