ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful set of circa early 1870s 2nd model leg irons by Tower's, a dominant US manufacturer of restraints from the 1860s through the 1940s. They come with their original key.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1870s.

SIZE: Approximately 21" in length by 6-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Iron.

ATTACHMENT: Chain, lock with key.

MARKINGS: Pat'd June 17 '62 & July 17 '66.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The leg irons shows light to medium wear.
