Description
This is a pair of adjustable, double-locking hand and leg irons with its original box and manufacturer's instruction card from the 1930s or earlier. A pair of cloverleaf keys hang from the chain.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s or earlier.
SIZE:Box: approximately 1-1/4" height, 4-1/4" width and 5-1/2" depth; irons: approximately 25" length and 3-7/8" diameter each.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Coated iron, printed cardboard, tissue paper.
ATTACHMENT:Chain.
MARKINGS:HARVARD LOCK COMPANY (twice) and 11SN (?) on irons; 1 PAIR LEG IRONS WITH KEYS BLACK FIN. HARVARD LOCK COMPANY READING, PA., U.S.A on box.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Irons have light abrasions and very small spot of oxidation; paper items are well-preserved.
