Dusty, attic-fresh Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Slouch Hat. This soft, wool felt slouch hat features a wreathed hat badge with the letters: "GAR" in the center and above the number: "12" (separate numbers with pin prong backings). 5+ (Fine-): The slouch hat shows moderate to heavy use and/or storage/age wear mostly to ribbon, overall light discoloration and moderate soiling with heavy dust and a few areas of separation, the badge shows moderate wear, much of the plating details remain intact, fabulous original paper union label intact.
