ARTIFACT:

This is an beautifully enameled pin made in Finland from .813 silver that is date-marked to 194The pin shows a richly colored scene of a globe with a sun rising over it. The pin's border reads S.M. UNION F.S. I.T.F., referencing the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1942.

SIZE:

3/4" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

.813 silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

VELJEKSET SUNDQVUIST (Brothers Sundquist) with proof marks on reverse of pin and H&O mark on backing.
