Description
This is a circa World War I to early 1920s leather flight or motorcyclist's helmet. The helmet has some unusual fleece lining and what appears to be a period repair to the chin strap buckle. The leather is still very pliable.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I - early 1920s.
SIZE:No size tag: when the helmet is lying flat on its side the main part of the helmet measures about 10" high by 11" in width (not including strap).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, fleece, metal buckle.
ATTACHMENT:Strap, buckle.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The helmet has some light to medium wear and what appears to be a period repair to the chin strap buckle.
