Description
This is an interesting circa 1920s or early 1930s leather flight helmet. The back flap can be worn down for warmth or snapped up off the neck. It also has a short visor and two side snap flaps covering a pair of earholes: the snaps have a neat design to them. The chinstrap is still serviceable.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-early 1930s.
SIZE:No tag: approximate size 7-1/2 to 8; approximately 11-1/4" from top to bottom of neck guard and 10-3/4" from tip of visor to back (when folded in half).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Chinstrap, buckle, snaps.
MARKINGS:None.
