This is a rare circa 1960s pilot hat badge for British European Airways (BEA), which flew from 1946 through 197The badge's velvet center reads "BEA" and is wreathed in silver bullion threads.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" in height x 2-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt with bullion embroidery, velvet, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto a visor hat.
MARKINGS:None.
