Circa 1950 British European Airways (BEA) Pilot Hat Badge

This is a circa 1950 pilot hat badge for British European Airways, which flew from 1946 through 197Framed by a golden laurel wreath, the letters BEA are at the center of the wing against a field of maroon, and topped by a golden crown.

Circa 1950.

Approximately 2-5/16" x 2-9/16"

Wool felt with plated brass and velour; cloth backing.
