This is an early circa 1950 stewardess wing in bullion for British European Airways, which flew from 1946 through 197The wing reads BEA against a field of maroon velvet and is topped by a golden crown.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" x 2-9/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in gold bullion with velvet, cotton backing.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The wing has moderate wear, especially along edge, and areas of medium tarnishing on the bullion.
