Circa 1950 British European Airways (BEA) Ground Crew Hat Badge

This is a circa 1950 ground crew hat badge for British European Airways, which flew from 1946 through 197Framed by a silver laurel wreath, the letters BEA sit at the center of the wing against a field of maroon, and topped by a silver crown.

Approximately 2-5/16" x 2-9/16"

Wool felt with plated brass and velour; cloth mesh backing.

Four brads holding layers of badge together.

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows a few small spots of very light wear and tarnish ion front and reverse has some oxidation and spots of discoloration.
