This is a circa 1960s hat badge for Brittania Airways, a United Kingdom airlines which operated from 1961 until 2005, when it became Thomsonfly. The badge is embroidered in gold bullion thread, and has a golden "B" upon its blue velvet center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt with bullion embroidery, velvet, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
