This is a circa 1951 Japanese-made jacket patch for the United States Navy USS Diodon SS-34The patch shows a catfish turned sailor and reads SS 349 U.S.S. DIODON.
VINTAGE:Circa 1951.
SIZE:5-1/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch in silk/cotton threads.
