This is an early 1960's, USS Bonefish SS-582 Japanese-made jacket patch with a great illustration of a half-bonefish, half-submarine clutching a torpedo in its teeth. We believe this patch to be from the Bonefish's first WestPac deployment in late 1960.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960.
SIZE:About 5" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
