Circa 1946 Nickel Zippo with Badge of Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Atsugi Patrol Sq.

This is a circa 1946 Zippo lighter in nickel with a circa 1954 badge affixed to it for the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Patrol Squadron 3 (JMSDF VP-3) from Atsugi. This lighter is rare and has an interesting history.

Circa 1946.

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" thickness.

Nickel case and insert with enamel and plated brass.

Hinge.
