This is a circa 1870s-1880s brass lock engraved with the letters "US" on an attached chain.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1870s-1880s.

SIZE:

12-1/4" length (including chain) and 2-3/8" width and 1" depth.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass.
