This is a circa 1870s-1880s Massener Police badge. Massener is said to be a ghost town.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s-1880s.
SIZE:About 2-3/16" in width by 2-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a "C" catch.
MARKINGS:TOWER & LYON 95 CHAMBERS ST. NEW YORK.
