This is a circa 1870's United States Army Colonel Eagle rank insignia.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870's.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height x 1-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a "C" catch.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin shows light wear and has a nice overall tarnish.
