Ca 1955 Japanese Made DI for US Army 23rd Infantry Regiment

This is a Japanese - made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 23rd Infantry Regiment. The DI is a wonderfully detailed blue and white crest with a totem pole design above and reads WE SERVE.

Circa 1955, just post - Korean War era.

1-3/8" in height x 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Two clutch-back posts.
