This is an unidentified badge for the Italian Air Force 6th Fighter Wing (Stormo Caccia). The badge is vibrantly enameled and shows a flying red devil or diablo against a field of black.
VINTAGE:Circa unknown.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VBEX03 LX9/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows only light wear with one very minor ding to the enamel.
