BEING RESEARCHED #ed Italian AF 53rd Fighter Wing Badge Ca. ? by S. Johnson NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified badge for the Italian Air Force 53rd Fighter Wing (Stormo Caccia). It is numbered 1141 on reverse and is by S. Johnson. The badge shows a saber at its center that is beautifully enameled in luminescent tangerine and ice blue.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 13/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
