ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified badge for the Italian Air Force 6th Fighter Wing (Stormo Caccia). It is numbered 1587 on reverse. The badge is vibrantly enameled and shows a flying red devil or diablo against a field of black.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with plunger-style catch.

MARKINGS: 1587

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows very light wear; all enamel is intact.
