ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States 21st Photo Reconnaissance Squadron, 14th Air Force jacket patch handmade in China. The patch is in a beautiful scarlet wool felt with exquisite detailing and shows an eagle carrying a camera across the globe.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 5-5/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads on muslin with muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and minor discoloration, mostly on its backing.
