This is a Beautiful Early, 1860's - 1870's Danbury, Connecticut Fire Department Badge in the shape of on early Helmet Plate.

Circa 1860s - 70s.

Approximately 1-5/8" in height x 1-9/16" in width.

Nickel-plated brass

Vertical pin with catch.
