Description
Beautiful, rare early 1930's Connecticut Forest Fire Service Patrolman badge by Robbins Co. Attleboro, Massachusetts. The enameled badge features a raised diamond embellishment with enameled details that depict an evergreen tree and beneath it reads: "FOREST SERVICE" in green enamel, across the center of the tree/diamond, it reads: "FIRE" in red enamel. The top of the badge features ornate details and below reads: "PATROLMAN" in green enamel. The bottom of the badge has an enameled ribbon that reads: "STATE OF CONN."
VINTAGE:Circa early 1930's
SIZE:Approximately 2 5/8" in height x 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Enameled, nickel plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.
