Beautiful 1920's Connecticut Forest Fire Warden Badge by Whitehead & Hoag. The shield shaped badge features a center decorated beautifully with a detailed landscape of a lovely full foliage tree in the foreground and smaller evergreens in the background. The badge itself appears to be struck in coin silver and reads: "FOREST FIRE WARDEN CONNECTICUT".

Circa 1920's

Approximately 2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

Silver Plated Nickel.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch (rotating locking piece missing)..
